The Nubian Renaissance Initiative (TNRI)
There are many nonprofit organizations working to uplift African American communities, and every one of them deserves recognition. But instead of asking you to support one specific organization, I’m asking you to become part of something bigger.
The Nubian Renaissance Initiative (TNRI) is a growing movement built around one simple idea: education, unity, ownership, accountability, and long-term solutions.
The goal is to bring together influential leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, professionals, entertainers, athletes, churches, and everyday people who believe it’s time to move beyond simply talking about our problems and start building real solutions.
About the Author
William C. Stephens
When I first started writing this book, I was angry, angry at where we are as a people and frustrated by how much more we are capable of becoming. We are brilliant people. We are creative, intelligent, and full of life. Our culture is everywhere. It is copied, sold, and celebrated, yet too often, the people who created it are still struggling to be respected.
This book has pointed out hard truths because soft words have not worked. Over and over, our problems come back to the same issues: lack of unity, lack of respect for one another, and a failure to recognize that many outside forces do not care if we succeed. If we fall apart, they will watch. If we destroy each other, they will let it happen. That is reality.
I am simply one so called black man concerned about our people, concerned about our children, concerned about our future. I believe that together we can change our trajectory with education and unity as the focus. Please read and absorb this important information and help make a positive change for African Americans.
